Queen Mary, University of London Library Services provides online access to more than 13,000 electronic journals (e-journals).

Search for journals by title on either MetaLib or the Library catalogue, and see an A-Z list of e-journals plus lists by subject and publisher.

SFX

SFX is a means of accessing the full text of an article and other resources from a reference in a database or electronic journal.

The service is available wherever you see the SFX button SFX at QM   

Resources displaying the button include:

  • The library catalogue
  • MetaLib
  • Databases such as Business Source Premier, ScienceDirect, PubMed and Web of Knowledge.
  • Electronic journal publishers websites
  • Google Scholar

MetaLib

MetaLib provides a single point of access to all of the e-resources to which the Library subscribes.  To login to MetaLib taught students should use their Student Service username and password, and researchers and staff should use their Central Services (IMAP) username and password.  Once logged in users are also logged into UK Federation, as well as the Library Services proxy server, for the duration of a browser session.
