While the ground floor was closed, we moved many of the books, journals and other collections to fit them into the two upper floors. We also sent some collections to off-site storage.

Following the re-opening of the ground floor, we are now gradually moving collections again, some to new homes on the ground floor, and some to new positions within the two upper floors. However, many of the items that we sent into storage are still off-site, and are likely to remain there until at least the summer vacation 2011.

You can check where collections are on the list of Mile End stock locations following the re-opening of the ground floor on the Library website, which we will keep up-to-date as we continue to move resources around the building.
