Poverty: Haydon appears in court

Legal notice for court hearing concerning arrest for insolvent debt, 11 June 1830

Legal notice confirming that Haydon, incarcerated in King’s Bench Prison, would have his petition and schedule heard in the Court of Relief for Insolvent Debtors on 19 July 1830. At this hearing he was honourably acquitted and released from prison.

Haydon was arrested for debt and taken to the King’s Bench Prison in 1823, 1827, 1830 and 1836.
