History - Other Libraries


University of London staff and students can use most of the libraries of the University for reference on production of their Queen Mary, University of London ID card. Many libraries will also allow staff and research postgraduates to borrow books.

The Sconul Access scheme allows researchers from Queen Mary to join and borrow from other University libraries.

Always check on the opening hours and the availability of the item you wish to consult before making a special trip.

    Very good collection of History books and periodicals. Queen Mary staff and students can borrow.

    Reference only. Undergraduates admitted to consult material not available elsewhere in London.
  • British Film Institute Reuben Library

    Books and periodicals on film and television.
  • British Library
    96 Euston Road, London NW1 2DB Tel: 0207-412 7332
    No form needed. Just take your Queen Mary card and some ID with proof of signature and address.
  • National Art Library at the Victoria and Albert Museum. 
  • Copac is the merged online catalogues of many major UK research libraries, including the British Library, Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, National Art Library. Very useful for locating material
