As part of the University of London’s History Day, research students were invited to an information fair at Senate House Library. The fair allowed libraries, archives and organisations from across London to showcase their historical holdings, offering advice on available research resources and access to collections.

Researchers also had the chance to attend research clinics and panel sessions, which included a variety of speakers talking on topics including libraries, archives, digital research and this year’s theme of American collections in London.

The event was well attended and a useful resource for anyone gathering information on London-based historical collections and primary sources related to their research interests. For more information on upcoming and past History Day events please check their website for details.

For more information about our collections please see our Guide to the Archives and to view highlights from our collection please see our online galleries.
