DANA Research Centre: 165 Queens Gate, London SW7 5HD. The Science Museum's library, which has unique resources around science technology and science in general. Reference access only.
The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) Library & Archives: Savoy Place, London WC2R 0BL. The Library's website includes information about membership.
Institution of Civil Engineers: 1 Great George Street, Westminster, London, SW1P 3AA. Covering civil engineering and connected areas, including railway, sustainable energy etc. The library also has an image collection which is available to view online.
National Aerospace Library: (also known as the NAL) Located at Farnborough Business Park in the former Royal Aircraft Establishment (RAE) Q134 Weapon Aerodynamics building known as The Hub. The collection includes extensive runs of journals recording the development of aviation and 40,000 technical reports from aeronautical research establishments around the world.
