ENDNOTE ONLINE

There are two types of Endnote Online available to our students.

One is freely available to everybody. with 21 referencing styles and a limited number of import filters) For the online account freely available to everyone, sign up via: my.endnote.com

The other is an enhanced version with thousands of referencing styles and hundreds of import filters) via Queen Mary University of London Library's subscription through Web of Science.

For the enhanced version via the library’s subscription of Web of Science. Please click on bite size video demos and look for instructions under Signing up Off campus.

The online version has very similar functionality to the desktop version. Before you can use the cite-while-you-write function to insert your references into a Word document you will have to download a plug-in to your computer. This will add the EndNote toolbar to Word. The plug-in can be downloaded from the Format tab within EndNote. The toolbar is already available on all Student Service PCs.

The library has produced some very useful bite-size video demos to help you use Endnote.

You can also contact your Liaison Librarian for EndNote support.

EndNote has its own in-built Training Guides and Support Page where you can find common questions or submit enquiries.
